This policy describes how Word Menagerie handles information in its current version, which includes solo games, Game Center multiplayer, and an optional permanent full-game unlock. The current version does not include advertising.
Information on your device
Word Menagerie stores solo game progress, saved games, statistics, earned stickers, and daily play and hint allowances on your device. The app uses bundled word lists and puzzle collections to run solo games. It does not require a separate Word Menagerie account.
The current app does not send solo game progress to a server operated by Steven Noble. Your device and Apple backup settings may affect whether local app data is included in backups.
Game Center and multiplayer
Multiplayer features use Apple Game Center. When you use these features, the app processes Game Center player identifiers, display names, participants, game moves, scores, and match results to operate games and display your history with other players. Opponents can see information associated with your shared games. Some match history and favorite-opponent information is cached on your device.
Apple operates Game Center and processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. You can manage Game Center through your Apple device settings.
Purchases and offer codes
The full-game unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. The app uses Apple StoreKit to check verified purchase information and provide, restore, or revoke access as appropriate, including when an offer code is redeemed or a purchase is refunded.
Steven Noble does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles payment information and purchase records under its own privacy practices. Restoring purchases uses your Apple Account; it does not require a separate account with Steven Noble.
Support messages
If you contact support, Steven Noble receives the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send. This information is used to respond to your request and address app issues. Support email is processed through Google Gmail. Please avoid including passwords, payment card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request, maintain relevant support records, and meet applicable obligations. You can request deletion of support correspondence using the contact address above.
Advertising and analytics
The current release does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. The app does not perform cross-app advertising tracking. Apple may process App Store, Game Center, and diagnostic information according to your account and device settings and Apple’s privacy practices.
If advertising or additional data services are introduced, this policy and the app’s privacy disclosures will be updated before the relevant release. Any required consent or permission choices will be provided in the app.
Your choices and deletion
The Reset all game data action clears local gameplay progress, saved games, statistics, and stickers. It does not replenish daily allowances, erase App Store purchases, or delete Game Center matches. Deleting the app removes its local storage from that installation; backups and information held by Apple are subject to Apple’s settings and retention practices.
You can manage purchases, refund requests, Game Center information, and device backups using Apple’s services. To ask about information supplied directly to Steven Noble, including support messages, use the contact address above. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live and the information involved.
This website
The Word Menagerie landing page, privacy policy, and disclosures are served as static pages. These dedicated pages do not embed analytics scripts, advertising scripts, third-party fonts, or tracking pixels. The website hosting and delivery providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver pages and maintain their services. Other sections of stevendnoble.com may use different integrations.
Links to Apple, the publisher’s main website, or email services take you to services with their own privacy practices. The Word Menagerie pages do not collect email through a newsletter or contact form; contacting support opens your email service.
Policy changes
This policy may change when the app’s features or data practices change. The published version will show when it was last updated. Material new data uses will be reflected in the app’s disclosures and any required choices.
